The Friends of the Shelton Libraries movie discussion group recently watched "The Girl in the Cafe." In unusual circumstances 2 poor souls pay the price for an extraordinary change in the G-8 Conference. Rated 4.5 out of 5.

Bookmaking Workshop

At the Plumb on 5/18 at 10AM. Shelton bookbinder, Cathy Reeve joins Miss Maura in a workshop on all that goes into making a book from spine and cover to pages. In this hands-on session, each child 9-12 will create at least one book with inexpensive tools using interesting and recycled materials; supplies and a snack provided. Registration is required and begins two weeks in advance.
