The Friends of the Shelton Libraries (FOTSL) help the library system via advocacy, fundraising, and volunteerism. Murder Takes the Cake!

At the Shelton Senior Center on Friday, 10/17 at 6:30PM. Bring your sleuthing skills as well as your appetite to this annual "Dinner and a Murder" event sponsored by the Friends of the Shelton Libraries. Tickets are $30 and are on sale at either library or at www.friendsofthesheltonlibraries.org.  Food will be provided by Roma's, and BYOB.  This year's whodunit was written and directed by local author Amanda Marrone.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting and election of officers will be held at the Huntington Branch Library in the downstairs Glover Room on Saturday, 10/18, from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm. This is an extremely important election year. My term as President of the Friends ends in October. Members and non members are welcome.

Please RSVP to either library and leave your name and the number of participants (Plumb – 203-924-1580; Huntington – 203-926-0111). Sandwiches, desserts and beverages will be provided. I hope you will attend and share in the successes of this extremely eventful year.

As I See It

At the Huntington Branch Library at 1PM. Join the Friends of the Shelton Libraries as we watch a fascinating movie followed by a lively discussion and dessert. This program is held the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Adults only.
