Oscar Forecasts with Joe Meyers

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Wednesday, 2/18 at 6:00PM.  Indulge in an “all things movies night” brought to you by the Friends of the Shelton Libraries “As I See It” film roundtable. This is the 5th annual Oscar Forecast event with guest Joe Myers, movie reviewer for the CT Post – share refreshments and champion your favorite actors and films – perhaps you can pick the winners of the upcoming Academy Awards. This is a free drop-in program, no reservations needed, come and bring a friend!

The Friends fund and present various programs throughout the year. These include:

Book Sales at both libraries
The Murder Mystery Dinner
Oscar Forecast with Joe Meyers – entertainment critic for the Connecticut Post
A Floral Arrangement and Design Class
The Adult Summer Reading Club

In addition, several museum passes at the Huntington Branch are underwritten by the Friends. The passes allow any Shelton library card holder free or discounted admission to:

As I See It

At the Huntington Branch Library at 1PM. Join the Friends of the Shelton Libraries as we watch a fascinating movie followed by a lively discussion and dessert. This program is held the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Adults only.
