Requesting items from other libraries – update

The state library delivery service has been reorganized and is now bringing requested items to your local library within a few days. Please make your requests and wait for them to arrive as before. Or for faster access, go directly to the owning library if you need the item quickly; your Shelton card is accepted in all CT public libraries. It is wise to call ahead to have the item pulled and put aside for you by the owning library. In most cases, you can then return the items at Plumb Memorial Library or the Huntington Branch.

The new statewide catalog is in the finishing stages and will allow you to search for items across the entire state.  We will keep you posted as to when it is officially up and running and ready for your requests.  If you have any questions, please see a librarian.  Thank you for your continued patience during this transition period!
