At the Plumb Memorial Library on Saturday, April 12 at 2:00PM. Princesses come in different shapes, sizes, and interests. Girls 1-12 years old and their caregivers can drop-in for a story and crafts with Miss Maura, then look for a special activity or 2 where the princesses will save the prince!
Girls in grades 4-6 and their mothers (or other significant women in their lives) are invited to join the libary's new monthly book club. New members are always welcome! On May 8 we will be discussing Drita, My Homegirl by Jenny Lombard. Copies of each month's book will be availbalbe at the Children's Department desk. Light refreshments, crafts, and door prizes at each meeting, which begins at 6:30PM.
At the Branch on Thursdays at 11AM. Join Danielle as she enchants 2 – 4 year olds with this cozy session.
At the Branch beginning 4/2 at 11AM. Watch your child’s eyes light up as they get to march, dance, and play musical instruments. Songs and action poems included. Recommended for kids ages 2 1/2 – 4 years and a caregiver. This is a weekly program that fills up very quickly, so please register for the February session now. A waitlist will be made available.
At the Branch on Tuesdays at 10:30AM. Infants and non-walkers will enjoy this fun one-on-one time with their caregiver. We will do traditional and new nursery rhymes and songs, many with hand play or action. Great for first time parents who want to add to their repertoire of oral tradition.
