At the Huntington Branch Library on Saturday, December 7 from 9:30AM to 12:30PM. Join your neighbors in bringing the true meaning of the Christmas season to those less fortunate. Please donate a new unwrapped toy or book, or make a donation and in return you will receive a free picture of your child with Santa, and enjoy holiday refreshments and activities. This event is co-sponsored by TEAM, Inc., Valley Toys for Kids, Echo Hose Ambulance, and Huntington and Pine Rock Fire Companies.
Both Plumb Memorial Library and Huntington Branch Library are drop off points for new, unwrapped toys for Toys 4 Kids.
If you enjoyed the Rubber Ducky Club at Plumb Memorial Library this summer, then you can keep the fun going with our new family reading program for caregivers and children (infants up to youngsters not yet in kindergarten). Stop by the Plumb Memorial Library Children's Room to pick up the information and supplies when you sign-up. Then continue the program at home – at your own pace. This program is supported by the Shelton School Readiness Council, the Shelton Library System, and the Friends of the Shelton Libraries, with a grant from the Valley community Foundation. Call the Children's Room at 203-924-9461 for more information.
