Guatemalan Worry Dolls

At the Huntington Branch Library on Monday, 10/5, at 4:30 PM. Children, ages 3 – 10, can make traditional dolls that take away troubles! Drop in; materials will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Life Is Art

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Thursdays, at 6:00 PM. Upcycled crafts will appeal to tweens (kids 10 years old and up). Register for this crafty session with Mz Ronda 2 weeks before each session – only 15 spots available.

Science Squad – September

At the Huntington Branch Library on Mondays (see our Events page for more details):

September 14 – Mesmerized!   Kids will learn about Benjamin Franklin and the Scientific method. Then they will test their psychic powers!

September 21 – Rosie Revere – Engineer    Attendees will get excited about engineering and try experiments related to flight.

September 28 – Pop! The Invention of Bubble Gum   Children will learn the history of bubble gum – and they will make their own!

Spanish with Sandra – new programs

At the Huntington Branch Library beginning Thursday, 10/1. Sandra is back for her regular preschool program and now with a Spanish program for younger school aged children! Learn Spanish through songs, games, stories, and other fun activities. Registration is required and space is limited for the Fall session, which ends November 19.

Thursdays, 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM for ages 3 – 5
Thursdays, 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM for ages 6 – 8
