At the Huntington Branch, Wednesday, August 31, 2:30 PM – 3 PM. Savor the flavor of summer! Children of all ages can submit treats with summer fruits as ingredients. Contestants will act as judges and pick their favorite snack. The winner will receive a copy of National Geographic Kids Cookbook: A Year-Round Fun Food Adventure. One runner-up will win fruit pop freezer molds. Treats should be made by children at home. Entries must be nut-free, and ingredients lists must be provided along with at least twelve servings.
