Canine Book Buddies

At the Huntington Branch Library on Thursday, 9/10, at 4:15 PM. Kids in grades preK – 5 can reserve a 15-minute timeslot to read to ZuZu, a standard poodle certified by Therapy Dogs International! Please register beginning 8/27.

Grandparents’ Day

At the Huntington Branch Library on Friday, 9/4, at 10:30 AM. Celebrate the bond between grandparents and their favorite kids! Listen to stories and enjoy a fun activity together during this all-ages event.

Kids Summer Reading Clubs

PLUMB MEMORIAL LIBRARY – Summer Tree House Spectacular Summer Reading

Beginning June 29 we are going paperless with this NEW summer-long reading incentive program which is open to kids entering Kindergarten to entering grade 6. Play BINGO all summer and earn Kids’ Cash to use in our kids-only camp store! Come and learn about the prizes, rewards, fun, and adventures waiting for you this summer!

Babies and preschoolers can join the Rubber Ducky Reading Club. No meetings, just fun activities to share between caregivers and little ones – then come in for your prize! Pick up this month’s card now.

HUNTINGTON BRANCH LIBRARY – Summer Tree HouseĀ  Club

Congratulations to all our summer readers. You surpassed our goal of reading a ton of books – you read a total of 2313 pounds!

If you had joined the Summer Tree House Club make sure you reserve a seat at The Greg and Alex Show on August 20. This program is open to kids ages 3 to entering grade 6. Contact the library for more information.
