Fun with Fiction

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Monday, 10/27 at 5:00PM. Kids in grades 3 – 5 and their families are invited to join the Family Book Club discussion of The Lemonade Crime by Jacqueline Davies. Multiple copies are available at the Children’s Desk.  Registration is required, and there will be refreshments and door prizes.

Hush! Hush! It’s Halloween

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Thursday, 10/30 at 5:00PM.  Kids ages 5 and up dress in costume and join Mrs. Fritsch and Mr. Al to celebrate with a Halloween parade, story, crafts, and light refreshments.  Registration is required and starts 10/16.

My Weird School Family Book Club

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Tuesday, 11/4 at 5PM.  Kids in Grades 1 – 3 and their families explore this series with A.J. and the other characters at Ella Mentry School through lively book discussions enhancing Common Core skills and related activites, plus refreshments and door prizes.  Multiple copies of Mr. Klutz Is Nuts! are available for this month's session.  Registration is recommended.

Understanding the Principles of Art and Color (part 2)

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Monday, 11/3 at 5PM.  Kids in Grades 1 – 6 join Mr. Al to explore color, shading, and perspective.  Wear old clothes.  Registration recommended.

Tweens Rule

At the Plumb Memorial Library on Wednesdays, 10/29, 11/5  and 11/19 at 6:30PM.  This new workshop for kids in Grades 5 – 8 offers crafts, cooking, and book discussions.  Stop in and help decide what we’ll do next!
