Want to Be a Potterhead?

At the Plumb, Saturday, October 1st, 10 am – 11 am. Are you a Harry Potter fan?  In grades 4-8?  Join this month’s discussion of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.   Talk about the book, complete a wizardly craft and meet other Potter fans!

Ahoy! It’s Pirate Day! – Ages 3 & up!

At the Plumb Library, Saturday, October 8, 10:00 AM. Kids ages 3 and up, join us for a pirate story and crafts, then hunt for pirate booty and engage in a sea ship battle; registration begins September 24th – 203-924-9461.

Halloween Stories with ZuZu the Therapy Dog

At the Huntington Branch, Saturday, October 15, 11 AM -11:30 AM.  Children of all ages are invited to listen to festive stories with therapy dog ZuZu the Standard Poodle! Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes.

Read-Together Club: Bad Kitty for President

At the Huntington Branch, Saturday, October 15, 1:30 PM – 2 PM.  This month, children, ages 5-8, and their caregivers can borrow a copy of Nick Bruel’s book about Bad Kitty, who decides to run for President of the Neighborhood Cat Association! Old School Afternoon: Perler Beads

At the Huntington Branch, Monday, October 17, 4:45 PM – 5:15 PM. Every month, kids, ages 5-10, can try out an “old school” activity that their parents or grandparents enjoyed as kids! This month, play with Perler Beads – tiny beads that melt together to create awesome decorations! Make a work of art inspired by video games, animals, food, and more! The possibilities are endless!
