New Museum Pass Available at Plumb Library!

We are pleased to announce that there is a new museum pass available for Shelton residents at the Plumb Memorial Library.  The EverWonder Children’s Museum in Newtown, CT aims to cultivate a lifelong love of learning in children by encouraging them to think, inquire, and wonder about the world around them. Read-Together Club: Skeletons Don’t Play Tubas

At the Huntington Branch Library, Saturday, October 21, 1:30 PM – 2 PM.  This month, children, ages 6-9, and their caregivers can borrow a copy of the Bailey School Kids book about a new band teacher with a passion for teaching everyone – even a skeleton – how to play band instruments! Globe-Trotters Book Club

Not-Too-Scary Halloween Party

At the Huntington Branch Library, Friday, October 27, 10:30 AM – 11 AM & 11 AM -11:45 AM. During this special session of our weekly Show-and-Tell Storytime, join Ms. Marissa for not-too-scary Halloween stories and songs! Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes. All ages are welcome at the 10:30 AM session. The 11 AM session is for ages 3 & up only and includes a bonus craft or game before the stories!
