Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes
At the Huntington Branch, May 12, at 4:45pm. Children, ages 8-12, can read Eleanor Coerr’s classic story about a Japanese girl with leukemia who hopes to fold 1,000 paper cranes to test the legend that doing so will make a sick person well. Borrow a copy from the library. Then, attend this book discussion event where we will make our own paper cranes! Please register at 203-926-0111.
