Tai Chi

The Plumb Memorial Library will be offering a special series of Tai Chi workshops for adults, beginning on February 9th at 11:00 am and held every other week in February and March in the Library’s downstairs Meeting Room.

The class will be taught by Debbie Wooley, a certified instructor with the Health Institute who has been practicing Ta Chi for the past ten years and been teaching it for five years.

Debbie will be teaching the Tai Chi for Arthritis method which uses the Sun style.  Each class will begin and end with a series of warm up and cool down exercises. There is no prerequisite to participate in this class.  No equipment is necessary and participants may do this seated if they feel more comfortable.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required and can be done by calling the Adult Dept at Plumb Memorial Public Library at 203-924-1580 or by registering here.  Please note you will be registering for all four classes in the series (February 9th, February 23rd, March 9th, and March 23rd).  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at 203-924-1580.
