2024 April Gallery at the Plumb Memorial Library
Bruce Zboray
Bruce is a self-taught “Sunday painter” who has been creating visionary and inspirational artwork for most of his life. For many years he worked in oils, but more recently has expanded his work to include pen & ink and watercolor. Interestingly, his two grown children appear symbolically in almost every one of his pieces.
Bruce had a career as a professional software developer before he retired. He lives with his wife of fifty years in Trumbull. His current interests include his artwork and growing a collection of “positive thinking” true stories that you can listen to or read.
Bruce Zboray, local artist, is currently exhibiting his paintings in the Meeting Room Gallery at the Plumb Memorial Library.
Keri Boehm
Keri grew up in rural Ohio and moved to Shelton, Connecticut in 2023. For Keri, art is a way for her to express her love for nature. She’s been passionate about painting and photography since childhood.
She taught herself acrylic painting on canvas while also developing her skills as a photographer. Keri’s art highlights animals and nature, with a focus on evoking childlike wonder in viewers and emphasizing the importance of preserving nature’s beauty. Keri’s creative process involves visualizing ideas and painting them on canvas. She seeks interesting perspectives for her photography, and edits the best shots.
With nature as her muse, Keri channels her passion for the great outdoors into captivating works of art. Keri continues to adapt her processes and presses forward with her art as a way to be able to connect with nature.
Works by Keri S. Boehm are on display in the Main Collection Room gallery of the Library.
The public is invited to view Bruce and Keri’s works during regular library hours.
