Gallery at the Plumb Memorial Library
July – September 2025

Peter McKinney

Peter McKinney is a lifelong resident of Connecticut. He is a construction worker by day, and an artful creator in his leisure time. He loves traditional 35mm photography as well as other forms of visual arts. Some of his favorite artists are Ansel Adams, Edgar Degas, and Norman Rockwell.
He creates art as a form of meditation to help him focus and release tension. He finds working with pastels and other mediums to be therapeutic. He creates what he feels, whether it be hope or heartache. He has included angels and wings after suffering a personal loss. He uses art as a way to promote healing and hopes others will benefit from it as well.
His work will be on display in the Gallery upstairs and in the Meeting Room on the lower level from July 1st until September 30th.
