Shelton Libraries’ Children’s Summer Reading 2025 – Begins Tuesday 6/10, Ends Friday 8/8
Ages: 0 – 4 Years Old and Grades: Kindergarten through 6th
This summer, the Shelton Libraries’ Children’s Summer Reading will be paperless as we use Beanstack. Beanstack is a digital platform and app that encourages reading and community engagement. It allows readers to track their reading, participate in reading challenges, earn and collect badges, earn rewards and earn prize tickets.

- Begin reading and logging time read and book titles too
📚 Read: All Books Count: Books read to a child, Audiobooks, Playaways, Tonies, Wonderbooks.
⏱️ Log Time Read.
📛 Earn Badges: Virtual colorful patterned stickers to collect.
🧸 Earn Rewards: Small prizes based on age can be picked-up at either Shelton Library.

One Grand Prize: One Lucky Child Reader will win a One Year Family Membership to the Connecticut Science Center
for 2 Adults and 4 Children.
This grand prize is being generously funded by the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club.
