Computer Basics
The Plumb Memorial Library is once again offering a special three-part series of computer classes! The classes will be taught by Mike Ingber, Computer Consultant and owner of Upward Business Systems of Oxford. Registration is required as space is limited, and can be done below or by calling the Plumb Memorial Library at (203) 924-1580 ext 5101. It is not necessary to bring a computer to the classes. The public is invited to register for one, two or all three of the classes.

Google Cloud – What is It?- Thursday, April 9, at 1:00 PM
So what is “The Cloud” anyway? The Cloud refers to the sharing of data and programs over the Internet. Here are some common examples of using the Cloud: sharing files or photos, backing up important data, keeping track of your schedule using Google Calendar, using Google Docs to create and collaborate on documents, using online versions of popular programs, using Amazon to access your music library from anywhere, and so on. What are the advantages of using the Cloud? Is the Cloud safe? Concepts and usage of the Cloud will be demonstrated and discussed.
