Registration required for children only. Register online, through a link on Miss Maura’s Programs Facebook Page, or by calling (203) 924-1580 ext. 5108.
New Program Policy: Please only register your child for 3 programs per month. This is being done to provide as many children an opportunity to attend a library program.

Once your child has registered for this program, come to Plumb’s Children’s Desk to borrow the monthly book: Whopper Cake by Karma Wilson and Will Hillenbrand.
On the night of program, your child should be prepared by:
- Bring an apron and a mug
- Having read the monthly book and be ready to discuss it
- Being ready to read recipe, follow directions and cook something delicious based on the book
We will be making “Chocolate Lava Mug Cake with Homemade Whipped Cream”. Recipe, ingredients and kitchen supplies will be provided by the library.
This is a hands-on food program. Caregivers must remain at Plumb while their child is attending program.
