Preschoolers are welcome to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed lovey to get “checked-out” by our kind and family-friendly medical staff from Naugatuck Valley Health District. Each pair will register for one 10-minute doctor’s appointment to:

  1. Explore doctor’s instruments

  2. Ask questions from a real medical professional

  3. Learn about a doctor’s care

  4. Promote healthy coping skills

Additionally after each doctor’s consultation, child and caregiver will create a special x-ray craft.
