The Nutmeg Book Award is our state literary award for children and young adult literature. There are 4 divisions to this award, Elementary, Intermediate, Middle School, and High School. Books are nominated by a select group of teachers, librarians and students. Students all over Connecticut read the nominees and vote on their favorite book in April.
