Become a Friend of the Shelton Libraries

The purpose of the Friends is to support the Shelton Library System through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteer service.

Friends’ membership donations have supported reading programs, collection development, museum passes, furniture purchases, and many other projects. As we grow, we can do even more! Both libraries need your help to make all this happen through service, fundraising, and awareness raising. Members are invited to quarterly Friends’ meetings, including the annual meeting in October. These meetings include updates on programs and voting privileges.

We thank our library Friends for their participation, ideas, and support!

Please click on this link to open the 2025 application form. Fill in the information, then print the form.

Please mail the form with your check to Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster Street, Shelton, CT 06484, or drop it off at the circulation desk at either the Plumb Library or the Branch.

The Friends also conduct an annual spring appeal to local businesses for their support and sponsorship. Business Friends are posted on our website and at each library to thank them for their generous donations.
