Take and Make Projects!
Well, things are a bit different this year, obviously, but we are still trying to provide things of interest from the library such as projects …to go!
Children, tweens, and teens are welcome to register for Shelton libraries’ NEW monthly “Take and Make Project”! We will provide you with some of the supplies and directions for each of these monthly projects. Each month there will be a new project. For example, in August, we offered “Mason Jar Ice Cream” and those registered received: a mason jar, list of ingredients to purchase and directions to read in order to make the ice cream. Patrons must register each child individually.
Since both Shelton libraries remain closed to the public, patrons can use our “Curbside Pickup” at Plumb Memorial Library to get the “Take and Make Projects”. We are providing this service, Monday through Thursday from 10AM – 2PM. No appointment is needed.
