What Exactly is the Virtual Book Nook?

Purchase books published within the last two to three years or autographed copies at a slightly higher price than the books that are available at the Plumb Memorial Library Book Nook.

All proceeds are utilized to support programs, events and other special programs sponsored by the Friends at the Plumb and Branch locations.

$5.00 for Hardcover and $3.00 for Trade Paperbacks
$7.00 for Autographed Hardcovers and $4.00 for Autographed Trade Paperbacks

How Does the Virtual Book Nook Work?

Click on the Virtual Book Nook link.
The link will take you into the VBN software where you will view books that are available for purchase.
Browse the books that are available by title and/or author.
If you find a book you would like to purchase, send an email to fotslvbn@gmail.com. Be sure to identify yourself in your email along with the title and author of the book.
We will email you back letting you know when the book can be picked up. You will have seven (7) days from email notification to purchase your book.
Come to the Plumb Library adult circulation desk on days and times that the library is open and let them know that you are here to purchase a book through the Virtual Book Nook.
Library staff will retrieve the book and collect your payment by cash or check.
Books that are not picked up within seven days will be placed back in inventory.
