Hot Dog of the Day Competition

Hot diggity dog!! Frankfurter fans are welcome to join Teen Librarian, Mr. Joe and Children’s Librarian, Miss Maura for a delicious food competition celebrating this classic culinary cuisine…hot dogs! Grades 5-8 will each cook their own hot dogs and then “craft” their own concoction of tasty condiments and delicious toppings to make a unique one-of-a-kind hot dog masterpiece. Then competitors will create a fancy name to go along with their wiener masterpiece too.

Mr. Joe and I will then taste each to determine who will be named “Plumb’s Hot Dog of the Day”. This is a hands-on food program. Caregivers must remain at Plumb while their child attends this program in it’s entirety.
