Registration required for children only. Register online, through a link on Miss Maura’s Programs Facebook Page, or by calling (203) 924-1580 ext. 5108.

New Program Policy: Please only register your child for 3 programs per month. This is being done to provide as many children an opportunity to attend a library program.

Event Details

Baked potato kid fans will transform an everyday plain potato in 30 minutes into a mouth-watering flavorful tater to be envied by all.

Each Potato Competitor will be given:

  • 1-Baked Potato

  • 1-Plate

  • 1- Knife

We will provide an array of tasty sauces and delicious condiments to use so your mundane potato will become the “STAR STARCH”! Plus each Potato Competitor will be required to name their yummy creation with a fancy title too. This is a hands-on food program.

Some ingredients which will be provided: bacon, chives, sour cream, BBQ, butter, cheddar cheese, salsa, ranch, broccoli, and a few other scrumptious toppings.

Plumb Staff will vote for the most delicious looking and sounding dressed spud and award it “Plumb’s #1 Spud of the Day”!
