Plumb Memorial Library will be welcoming vintage crafter Denise Smith for a special Pinecone Flower Craft Class. Denise Smith from Hamden, CT, is a lifelong, self-taught artist educator with a deep connection to the woodlands of New England. Her 2D/3D one-of-a-kind artwork and crafts are mainly created from the bounty of foraged birch branches, pinecones, tree bark, leaves, and moss.
Adults of all abilities will be inspired with this Pinecone Flower craft experience. Create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece using materials found in nature. Participants will be given precut pinecone flowers, a canvas, paints, nature materials, instruction and inspiration.
