Summer Reading Kick-Off Party

Family Movie and Picnic

Grades: Kindergarten – 6

Join Miss Leanne and me as we kick off the Summer Reading 2026 Program: “STEP RIGHT UP and… READ!” by providing a FREE family-friendly movie: Zootopia 2 (PG) and then a FREE icy treat for each registered child. Families are asked to please bring a picnic lunch(no nuts please) and a blanket or towel to sit on. After the movie enjoy a flavored shaved ice from Kona Ice of Stamford.

Each registered child will be provided with a cup of shaved ice and then select flavor(s) with Kona’s signature Flavorwave® system to place on top of their icy treat. Flavorwave® is a unique self-serve system features 10 of Kona’s most popular shaved ice flavors, giving guests the freedom to invent their own flavorful creation and enjoy endless delicious combinations! It will surely be a “cool” summer treat!
