Registration Details

Registration is required for each child participating. Register online, through a link on Miss Maura’s Programs Facebook Page, or by calling (203) 924-1580 ext. 5108.

New Program Policy: Please only register your child for 3 programs per month. This is being done to provide as many children an opportunity to attend a library program.

Event Details

Uncover the magic of MUSIC at the New Haven Symphony Orchestra’s interactive instrument petting zoo! From bowing a violin to tooting a flute, striking a drum, plucking a cello, and buzzing a trumpet, this MUSICAL petting zoo is a fun and interactive kid-friendly musical experience.

Kids and their caregivers will learn:

  1. The different musical instrument families

  2. How to properly hold a variety of musical instruments

  3. and even have the chance to play some of these musical instruments

Please Note: There will be NO ANIMALS during this Musical Instrument Petting Zoo, yet it will still will be a fun hands-on child friendly library program.
