Author Gary Scarpa and his wife Francesca, who brought live theater to the region for 43 years and who founded Shelton’s Center Stage Theatre in 2005, will discuss Gary’s latest book, Lessons from the Stage, and talk about the importance of local amateur theater and the impact it had on the hundreds of actors whom they directed. The evening promises to be filled with both funny and poignant stories from the wonderful world of theater.
