Connecticut Cryptids at the Huntington Branch

Join author Patrick Scalisi and artist Valerie Ruby-Omen for a talk about their book, Connecticut Cryptids at the Huntington Branch. Pat and Val did extensive research on creature folklore from throughout the state. They’ll explain the concepts of “cryptozoology” and “cryptids,” followed by a live storytelling session on the chapter specific to the Shelton area (yes, there are cryptids lurking all up and down the Naugatuck Valley!). There will also be time for questions and a chance to purchase signed books and prints from the creators.
